Handles inbound and outbound calls within Call Center environment to sell organization's services by interacting with established customers and developing new prospects. Maintains contacts primarily through telephone, correspondence or other means of telecommunication. Requires broad knowledge of organization's services and of marketing/sales techniques. Receives calls from customers and outside sales representatives. Responsible for inputting customer information into computer, monitoring and reporting outcomes.
Meet and exceed aggressive sales/call goals and overall objectives.
● Log customer calls into Call Center system to analyze data for improved customer service.
● Performance is measured by contacts per day and revenue generated.
● Develop sales strategies prior to contacting designated markets, using a variety of visuals, including Internet layouts and other sales aids.
● Handle an aggressive schedule of daily inbound and outbound calls/contacts.
● Schedule, organize, and prioritize work to meet both customer and company goals and deadlines.
● Accuracy and organization skills are critical to producing successful outcomes.
● Escalate issues to third parties for data problems or questions beyond first level response.
1. Minimum three (3) years related experience
2. Strong verbal communication skills
3. Willingness to make cold calls, do research, and identify needs of the customers quickly
4. Excellent customer service skills
5. Ability to manage extremely high call volume
6. Excellent organizational skills with ability to multi-task effectively
7. Flexible schedule
8. Intermediate to proficient knowledge of MS Word, Excel and internet navigation are required. Incumbents must be computer literate and have the ability to learn new internal software programs as needed by the business.
Associates Degree; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
